How to use Gimp

Learn to use the free and open source software to create, edit and improve your images.

Gimp is a free software that you can download at gimp.org for for free. It is available for all platforms like Windows, Mac-OS and Linux.
This 4 week course explains how to download, install and use Gimp if you are not familiar with this software.
Course topics are:
  • Download and Install Gimp
  • Use Gimp to retouch images
  • Use Gimp to create seamless textures
  • Use Gimp to isolate objects in an image
Each week starts with an instructional video and an assignment. Students can discuss problems and questions with other participants and the Teacher. There will also be one life session every week for questions.

Students can upload their edited pictures to the forum, so we can all see if you made progress.
The course is free for a limited number of Students.

The class is free for students who wants to participate actively in the course. Participation in the course forums and uploading your exercise results as assignments is required to stay in the course. Students who don't participate or who fail to send in their assignments, will be removed from the course.
