Today I talk about a single website that contains a bunch of useful podcasts for you to listen to. Usually I tell you about a specific genre in this webtutor podcast, but I found that I have subscribed to almost all of the podcasts from this particular site, so that I think I can make an exception here.

It contains six different podcasts at the moment, and I am subscribed to five of them. So let's start with the first one.

It is: "Grammar Girl's quick and dirty tips for better writing". I already told you about this in my webutor episode about learning English as a second language. So let's just keep this short: It’s a podcast about tips and tricks for using correct English grammar. I like it very much, even if I'm not a fan of learning grammar.

Next is: "Mr. Manners' quick and dirty tips for a more polite life". Mr Manner is talking here about how to behave in public. Here you will find topics like "What sort of food can you eat with your hands", "how to politely getting off the phone". He even has a series on gym etiquette, for example "the locker room". For me it's a nice and short 3 minute podcast to hear once a week. It's always good to know how to behave in public, even if I don't leave the house very often because I'm usually sitting in front of my computer all the time.

The next one is: "Legal Lad's quick and dirty tips for a more lawful life". Mr. Legal Lad tells you about your rights, even if his podcast is not intended to be a substitute for seeking personalized legal advice from an attorney licensed to practice in your jurisdiction. You will find this disclaimer on every episode, so you really can tell that he is a lawyer. Anyway, his tips are useful if you live in the US. You can learn something about how to legally share files on the Internet, or how to find a good attorney. The episodes have a length of about 5 minutes each, and you will find them once a week.

The next one is "Mighty Mommy's quick and dirty tips for practical parenting". This is the only podcast on the site that I am not subscribed to. The reason is that I'm not a Mommy nor am I mighty, so that won't interest me very much. But if you listen to this podcast and can give my listeners a good comment about it, feel free to send me an audio comment or just type a comment on my website.

Now comes "Money Girl's quick and dirty tips for a richer life". Like Legal Lad's tips, this may be useful for people in the US only. She talks about retirement plans as well as about tax saving tips. Because it's not very useful for me as I life in Germany, I don't listen regularly to this podcast, but for you it would be interesting. Each episode is about 5 minute long and they are published once a week.

The next one is my personal favourite: "The Travelling Avatar's quick and dirty tips for a better Second Life". Since I'm addicted to Second Life for about 2 month now, this podcast is really useful to get interesting hints on this special game designed by Linden Lab. This podcast will tell you where you get nice hair for your avatar, where you can buy fancy stuff, how to get free stuff and how to be safe in Second Life. Like the other podcasts on the site, it's also about 5 minutes long and appears once a week.
